The Elite Snail returns for the 2022 World Marathon Challenge!
Our good friend Byron Ball is returning to compete in the 2022 World Marathon Challenge. The current Guinness World Record holder for “fastest time to run a half marathon on each continent (male)” is lacing up his shoes and training hard for this grueling series of races. 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days is something that is unimaginable for most people but “Fire Ball” will look to accomplish this goal for the second time.
Byron has been a huge supporter of the Character In Life Foundation and our mission to help students and veterans and their families. He currently sponsors a $1000 a year scholarship at Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, WA. The “You Can Never Dream Too Big” scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior and is selected by the leadership students at Emerald Ridge. Byron decided to start this scholarship after speaking at Emerald Ridge’s Veterans Day assembly in 2018.
We are proud to support Byron in his pursuit of completing the 2022 World Marathon Challenge and we are humbled by his continued commitment to serve others by supporting Character In Life.
